Black Curved Roof Rafter - Slight
Stop water pooling on your annex awning with our Black Curved Roof Rafter - Slight. Designed to add tension and stability, this rafter comes in two telescopic aluminium sections. The thinner end features a straight spigot for a secure connection to your awning tube, while the thicker end has a bent spigot that fits into the included stainless steel mounting bracket.
To install, insert the thinner pole and adjust the length using the integrated black dial. The rafter has a durable black-coated aluminium finish, with a gently rounded top to prevent wear or damage to your awning fabric. The slight curve offers an offset of approximately 25–35mm at full extension, helping to reduce wind flap and water pooling on your awning. Perfectly paired with our anti-flap kit.

How many rafters do I need?
The amount of rafters required depends on the length of your awning.
- Awnings under 12': 1 roof rafter recommended.
- Awnings 12' - 16': At least 2 roof rafters recommended.
- Awnings 17' - 20': At least 3 roof rafters recommended.
- Awnings 21' and beyond: At least 4 roof rafters recommended.
Installation
- Mount the supplied bracket to your van using appropriate screws for the cladding.
- Fully extend your awning with the keyway facing downward.
- Drill a hole in the awning tube at an appropriate height.
- Ensure you deburr the hole with a file to avoid fabric damage when rolling the awning up.
- Insert the rafter pole and adjust to fit.
